What does the shoot include?
Professional Equipment
Throughout the duration of the shoot, our commitment to dedicated effort and expertise is enhanced by the inclusion of creative direction from my professional female creative directors, who bring decades of experience both in front of and behind the camera.
Invaluable insights into posing and wardrobe assistance add a rich layer of sophistication to our work. These seasoned professionals serve as an extra set of eyes, meticulously paying attention to the nuances of each pose and the harmony of the wardrobe selections with the shoot's theme.
Expertise is not just in ensuring that the subjects are presented in the best light, but also in catching and refining the subtle details that might otherwise be overlooked.
This collaborative approach ensures that every session benefits from a comprehensive spectrum of skills, blending technical precision, creative vision, and detailed attention, thereby guaranteeing that our photographs resonate with depth, beauty, and authenticity.
By leveraging the unique perspectives and rich experiences of our female creative directors, we ensure that our photoshoots achieve a level of perfection and creativity that truly sets our work apart.
In our photography sessions, we elevate the experience by tethering a high-end laptop to the camera. This innovative setup allows you to view the images we capture in real-time, offering instant feedback without the need to squint at a small camera screen.
By integrating this real-time viewing experience, we ensure that your input is incorporated every step of the way, guaranteeing satisfaction with every shot.
We spare no expense in ensuring the best possible outcomes for your photographs. Our sessions feature the use of top-tier lighting, cameras, and lenses.
This commitment to quality ensures that every detail is captured with crystal clarity and that the final images meet our uncompromising standards for excellence.
Trust us to bring your vision to life with the unparalleled sharpness and depth that only the best equipment can deliver.
How should I prepare for the shoot?
To ensure a smooth and efficient shoot, please arrive prepared to start immediately.
This preparation includes:
Hair and Makeup:
Have your hair styled and makeup applied prior to your arrival. This helps maximize our shooting time together.
Outfits:
Choose and bring the outfits you intend to wear during the shoot. Make sure they are ready and accessible for quick changes to keep the session moving seamlessly.
By arriving fully prepared, we can focus on creating the best possible images without unnecessary delays.
Do you work with a hair/makeup artist?
Do you provide a studio location to shoot in?
No, due to my frequent travels and work across multiple cities, I do not collaborate with a specific hair/makeup artist for most locations.
However, when in Los Angeles, I do have access to a network of professional hair and makeup artists, as well as specialists for nails and eyebrows.
For shoots outside of LA, I suggest visiting a DryBar for professional hair styling services.
For makeup, I recommend making an appointment at a Mac, Sephora, or Ulta counter. These options can provide high-quality services to prepare you for the shoot.
Yes, I provide a studio location for sessions in Los Angeles and Florida. For shoots in other locations, securing a suitable venue falls to you.
I recommend booking 4-5 star hotels for a luxurious aesthetic, with suites being preferable for additional space.
PeerSpace is an excellent resource for finding rental locations that meet your requirements.
Additionally, I offer outdoor shooting options, including beaches, fields, and more, to cater to a variety of preferences and themes.
How do you accept payment? What about deposits?
When will my images be ready?
Payment Methods:
For securing your booking, I require a 50% deposit. This deposit is essential to hold your spot, and without it, the shoot cannot be confirmed. You can make deposits through Venmo and Stripe.
Deposits:
The deposit not only secures your booking but also commits us to the scheduled shoot date. It's a crucial part of the booking process to ensure that both parties are committed and prepared.
Final Payment:
The remaining balance of the payment is required in cash on the day of the shoot. This ensures a smooth completion of our transaction and allows us to focus fully on creating the best possible outcome from our session together.
Your photos will typically be ready within 24 hours after the shoot. Once they are ready, you will receive a private link to review the proofs in a secure online gallery. This allows you to conveniently view your photos from the comfort of your own home or on the go.
When you access the gallery, you can make selections by rating each photo from 1 star to 5 stars, depending on your preferences. This rating system helps you identify your favorite shots and the ones you'd like to prioritize for editing.
As you rate the photos, your selections automatically sync to my computer in real time. This seamless process ensures that I can begin editing your chosen images immediately, allowing for a faster turnaround and ensuring that you receive your final edited photos as quickly as possible.
By providing this efficient and user-friendly system, I aim to make the post-shoot process as smooth and enjoyable as the shoot itself, giving you control over your final selection and ensuring that the photos perfectly capture your vision.
